Baseball is America’s game, whose capital city, Washington, D.C., was without the game for 33 long years. Much has changed in the game of baseball and the country since September 30, 1971, the day the final Washington Senators game was played at RFK Stadium, and April 14, 2005, the day the Washington Nationals were inaugurated into their new position as D.C.’s home team.
